INTENDED USE
(For In Vitro Diagnostic Use Only)
Dialyse-Diff II 5D is a ready to use staining reagent for the staining of white blood cell count, lymphocyte count, monocyte cell count, eosinophil cell count, neutrophil cell count on
SUMMARY AND PRINCIPLE
A sample volume of a whole blood specimen isaspirated into the analyzer where a portion of it is automatically diluted with Dialyse-Diff I 5D and Dialyse-Diff II 5D. The red blood cells are hemolysed and all white blood cells selectively loose part of their cytoplasm and shrink in size. From the 4Diff reaction chamber the cell suspension through the flowcell along with Diaton 5D. The two fluids flow as independent, concentric streams (no mixing), with the Diaton 5D stream encasing the sample stream. The sample is then analyzed by two-angle laser light scattering detection using a laser diode. The cells in the suspension are classified into red blood ghosts, lymphocytes cells (LYM), monocytes cells (MONO), eosinophil cells (EO) and neutrophil cells (NEU). Consult your specific instrument Operators Manual for additional information with respect to procedures and principles for whole blood hematological analysis.
